Happy Anniversay

Jermaine and I have been together for 10 years today.

Our story begins with Bishop Alba and Douglas Shaw. Bishop felt inspired to call Douglas on a mission, Douglas served in Alabama and taught Jermaine the gospel. Douglas asked his dad to send someone to meet Jermaine and taa-daa it was me!

On September 29th 1999, we had the our DTR talk (define the relationship). We have been best friends since. He served a mission in Brazil for two years and we endured the long distance relationship focusing by improving ourselves and helping the people around us.

Then came marriage, two boys and a rowdy dog.

California Love

I lived in California for about 8 years while my dad went to U.C. Berkley. Jermaine and I went went back for a wedding and loved seeing everything.

Since we have been together, 10 years this September, we have never taken a trip to California. We went to see my elementary school, the student family housing, Fisherman's Wharf, Lombard street, the Coit Tower, Alcatraz and most importantly great friends.

Birthday Gurl!

Every year I have this grandiose goal of having everything done by my birthday December first. This includes decorations up, Christmas cards out and Christmas shopping done. I have not yet accomplished this goal but I’ll keep my eye on the prize!
I celebrated with good friends and good food, we went over to Mary's and Juston's.

Our family can’t handle playing Scrabble it turns into to squabble so we had to put it away and play spoons. This picture includes me, my dad, my mom, my brother Katende and his wife Sanyu.
