Memory lane

Memory Lane.... the tag that gets everyone involved

Got this from a friend and I thought I would play the game. Here's how you play

1. Leave a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and i had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory of you. It's actually pretty funny to the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.

3. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.

  1. My favorite memory of you is forcing us to talk in Relief Society. I rather looked forward to your lessons because it was always so interactive and personal.

  2. My first memory of you is meeting you in the hallway at church. You had a big smile and were so friendly. I also remember loving your skirt:) It was long, light blue I think. ANYWAY I remember looking forward to getting to know you:) I also have to comment on Annie's...I really like the way you have us mix it up in Relief Society. It has really helped me to meet people!

  3. You were the first person to introduce yourself when Brooks and I moved into the Atlanta ward. I always remember you as the most friendliest member of the Atlanta ward!!!

Oh yeah, and when I helped you with your blog. (Even though I really didn't help you too much.)

  4. Jacki,
I love your singing, I will always remember you singing 'At Last' by Etta James during our Relief Society "talent Show". It was beautiful. Jermaine heard you while he was walking down the hall, he had to come in and see who was singing.

Let's see. Laying on the hammock every Sunday afternoon or in the basement, taking a nice relaxing snooze. And talking away.

  6. A favorite memory of you is dancing at the young single adult dances ages ago. And I remember when you first met Jermaine and our drive to AL to see his family. I'll be in GA next week while Simon is in Texas for business. Let me know if you have some free time. Love you tons!

  7. Emily Bartlett,
I will remember youth conference, You and I and Carrie and three other girls all slept in a bed. How crazy! And of course Sunday afternoon naps.

I remember you calling me a dork for signing my name is Kembe Sullivan before Jermaine and I got married. I've matured slightly since then.

  11. My best memories continues each Sunday. It never fails it's "Let's go teach Brendis and Yulia." Thanks for pressing me on even when I am so tired.

I also remember babysitting the boys for a few hours so you could go to the grocery store. While you were gone we had a blast. You got home and said you hit another car and were just laughing and laughing. It was hilarious!
    Sorry for the run-ons.

  12. How bout someone wearing an earpiece, NOT connected to a phone so that people could "know who was in charge."

    or....

A whole line of Christmas cards up in your house...given to you by yourself!

    shall I continue with memories??

    HHHHAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

  13. Thank you for those wonderful memories brohamma. By the way a marriage resulted from my 15 dates in 30 minutes activity when I was in charge.

Those cards were samples and we needed cheap decorations. Anything to bring in the Christmas cheer.

Back when you were nice, that was about 10 years ago, you talked us into cutting class to go to Six Flags. Everyone one had a blast.

I also can't forget your great dad.

  16. I remember going to the park with you when we both only had one child and we talked about when we were going to have our next child. We both said we wanted our kids to be about 2 years apart and we both did.

  17. I remember we came to your house for dinner a little while before we moved, and you made us "fried green tomatoes." I was so excited. And they were DELICIOUS! It was my first and only experience with fried green tomatoes (so far!).

  18. Favorite memory? I think it was your baptism! Or seeing you bright and early for seminary when we all knew you were soooo confused - but you got it and even completed your freshman year of seminary during your jr year! I also remember the complete camo Kembe at regional girls camp! I also thought it was cool to be invited to your endowment session - we missed you because you told us the wrong time, but we were there anyway! BUT we made it to your sealing - what a fabulous day! I also liked helping with your wedding reception and seeing you in traditional clothing on your way to the cabin honeymoon. But my most favorite memory was being honored to teach childbirth classes to you and Jermaine! This was an honor especially since seeing you grow up in the church and being blessed to be called as a mother. Now look at you - Bishop's wife, excellent teacher and still a really cute gal! Love ya!

    I can't believe its been 20 years!
Okay I don't know if you remember this but its a vivid memory I have---we were at your place, I guess we must have been eating cheese or something-- anyway it was the type of cheese that came in the red waxy covering... I remember molding this stuff in to fake nails and just having a ball! Good times... :)

  22. I remember feverishly searching for candy with you. Your mom would do Easter egg hunts in the yard.

I also remember getting to watch tv with you and the family.

Remember that time the dog bit Nkomele (sp)? I remember her showing us her hand.
